Clear Evidence for God in Creation

A scientist might well say that we cannot prove that God exists, and whilst there is a sense that God’s existence cannot be proved systematically by scientific method (i.e. through experimental procedures), there is another side of this that we need to look at very seriously. To quote from the Bible:-

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. (Psalm 19:1 ESV)

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20 NIV)

These are very much words for today. The quality, perfection and sheer complexity of creation undoubtedly tell of the glory of God as Master Creator and Designer. The words of Paul to the Romans are almost prophetic, especially as the truth of God’s work in creation is being suppressed today more than ever before, following the rise of modern evolutionary thinking. The very purpose of this blog, though still in its infancy, is to demonstrate the many ways in which the existence and works of God are clearly revealed in the universe, life and all things created. I fully appreciate that this message goes out against much opposition from mainstream thinking and teaching, but as Christians, we cannot keep silent about these matters. Belief in God as Creator is absolutely foundational to our faith.

You may be unsure of these things, but if in doubt, just look on the wonder of creation!
